On September 07, 2018 it became known that the Pipe Metallurgical Co. (PMC) and Group-IB announced the conclusion of the strategic agreement in the field of cyber security. Joint work of partners is directed to gain of information security of Pipe Metallurgic Company, identification and prevention of cyberthreats.
Within agreement signature with Group-IB of Pipe Metallurgic Company is going to strengthen cyber defense perimeter, staking on progressive technologies of early warning of threats of information security using Threat Intelligence technologies. Besides, the company plans carrying out audit of security of corporate systems, including the production block.
The large-scale program for education and training of profile personnel of Pipe Metallurgic Company in effective response to incidents of information security organized by Laboratory of computer criminalistics Group-IB became the beginning of long-term partnership of the companies. Experts of the company gave lecture and practical classes for the staff of Pipe Metallurgic Company devoted to volume how to reveal compromise traces and also unmistakably to distinguish signs of preparation of the hacker attack. Besides, within Compromise Assessment for Pipe Metallurgic Company the recommendations about additional setup of the systems of the client, process optimization, creation of the corresponding regulations were prepared and also the detailed plan of reaction for the purpose of minimization of potential damage and the fastest localization of a problem is developed.

According to the agreement, Group-IB will carry out consultation on a stop of development of incidents in the field of cybersecurity, to improvement of the automated means for detection of the not detected software used by malefactors proceeding from specific type of the attack and also development of recommendations about further prevention of similar incidents. Besides, the agreement assumes implementation of a range of services of technical, information, consulting and organizational and legal character in the field of audit and conducting computer technical expertize of information systems and the equipment.
