Tyumenenergo implements a monitoring system and diagnosings of coupling capacitors of 110 kV

On September 17, 2018 it became known that in Tyumenenergo the monitoring system and diagnosings of coupling capacitors of 110 kV of own development will be implemented.
The monitoring system is developed by specialists of the Surgut branch "Tyumenenergo" and for September, 2018 is operated in the pilot mode on four objects, including on switching point of 110 kV Victory. In real time it monitors a status of condensers and helps to prevent technology violations because of abnormal destruction of condensers, allowing to reveal defects on initial stage of their development, provides an opportunity to timely take measures for an exception of emergency situations which can arise at damage of the condenser including, and on remote objects, and, above all, excludes potential danger of traumatizing personnel at abnormal destruction of the condenser. Information on a status of controlled coupling capacitors of 110 kV is displayed online in the OIC Manager program.
Base is the technique regulating use of the serial equipment and the software "OIC Manager" developed by specialists of Tyumenenergo. Thus, as noted in Tyumenenergo, for implementation of the project there is no need for development of additional devices and diagnostic complexes, so, and in increase in costs of the company at Research and Development.
The monitoring system and diagnosings of coupling capacitors of 110 kV under the operating voltage was recommended for application and implementation on substations in all branches "Tyumenenergo".[1]
