NIIK and AspenTech signed the license agreement on delivery of software of aspenONE Engineering

On September 17, 2018 in NIIK company announced the conclusion of the license agreement with Aspen Technology. The agreement assumes delivery of the software package aspenONE Engineering Suite for modeling of chemical and technology processes, equipment design, development of TEOI and the project documentation.

After contract signature specialists of a scientific part and complex department of JSC NIIK completed an introduction training course with specialists from the Russian office AspenTech. For September, 2018 specialists of JSC NIIK implement the aspenONE Engineering tools in the workflows.

Engineers of JSC NIIK will use the software of aspenONE Engineering for accomplishment of preproject works, development of feasibility statements and also the design estimates for the projects in the field of production of mineral fertilizers, such as methanol, a carbamide, ammonia, etc.

Application of the software package aspenONE Engineering will allow specialists of JSC NIIK:

• seize the advanced modeling tools of technology processes showing considerable economic effect at an operational phase and service;
• lower labor costs when carrying out technology calculations and development of the project documentation on reconstruction and construction of facilities of chemical industry;
• carry out parallel operation of different project departments for increase in efficiency of engineers;
• develop computer simulators for a training system and training of operators of production processes.
