Rostelecom created a video surveillance system for fixing of a situation on streets of Pervouralsk

On September 19, 2018 the Rostelecom company announced completion of mounting works and setup of a video surveillance system for fixing of a situation on streets to Pervouralsk of Sverdlovsk region. City video surveillance – the hi-tech system organized by Rostelecom will help law enforcement authorities to control round the clock a situation on streets and roads of the locality.

Rostelecom was selected by service provider in July, 2018 based on the open auction held by Administration of the city district Pervouralsk.

"Within the implemented project in Pervouralsk 27 cameras which locations are approved with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and traffic police are mounted. It places with mass stay of people – the square, squares, traffic intersections with the greatest traffic, hydraulic engineering constructions. Access to surveillance cameras is in department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the city of Pervouralsk and Uniform service of the city district on duty and dispatching. In the solution of emergencies rapid response from the power is necessary, thanks to a video surveillance system the possibility of the fast notification of inhabitants and emergency services appeared". For September, 2018 the company completed installation and setup of the equipment of video surveillance and is ready to pass into the mode of technical maintenance". Stationary surveillance cameras are mounted on Lenin, Vatutin, Weiner, Trubnikov's streets, Ilyicha Ave., Gagarina, Krylova, Ordzhonikidze and other significant places.

The video information collected from city streets is brought to the videowall of high resolution located in the Center of monitoring – the main building of Intermunicipal management of police. Video broadcasting is performed in real time, data transfer rate makes not less than 25 frames per second that allows to browse image details. Transfer by day of the video camera color "picture", and at night – black-and-white. Connection between elements of the video system is performed by means of the fiber lines of communication organized by Rostelecom.
