On September 25, 2018 the company Aspen Technology announced that Petronas, the integrated oil and gas international company founded in Malaysia selected software solutions aspenONE Engineering, Petroleum Supply Chain and Supply Chain Management for optimization of industrial assets and maximizing profitability at the oil processing and petrochemical integrated RAPID enterprise located in Pengerang (the region Yokhor, Malaysia).
For increase in operational efficiency through optimization of assets, the Petronas company signed the agreement on use of software products Aspen HYSYS Petroleum Refining, Aspen Plus, Aspen Polymers Aspen PIMS-AO, Aspen Petroleum Scheduler, Aspen Refinery Multi-Blend Optimizer and Aspen Plant Scheduler. These solutions promote profit maximization and fault recovery of the equipment, more reliable planning and creation of production schedules, process optimization of selection of raw materials and mixes and also increase in efficiency in the field of rapid response and decision making.
