2019: Automatic recognition of passport data

On March 26, 2019 Smart Engines reported that at execution of the request for a mortgage through mobile application of Cian it is not necessary to spend time for filling of passport data manually any more – now Cian will recognize the Russian Federation citizen passport automatically. It is enough to show the document to the phone camera for several seconds – during this time the application will recognize necessary data then they are automatically entered to fields of the completed questionnaire.

The provided functionality was implemented based on the Smart IDReader technology developed by Smart Engines company. Process of recognition is executed in real time on the mobile phone and stops when a system is sure of result.

After the questionnaire is completed, requests for a mortgage loan go to approval in partner banks. Already in a couple of minutes provide to users solutions on a mortgage in the application of Cian. Having selected the best offer, it is possible to continue communication in the online mode on the website of partner bank. To office of bank it will be necessary to come only once – to the transaction.

2018: Start of service "Cian. Mortgage"

On September 28, 2018 Cian starts service "Cian. A mortgage", allowing the buyer of housing to get approval of a mortgage directly on the website CIAN.RU. Service gives the chance to online send the uniform request for a mortgage loan and in two minutes to receive the best offer from several banks at once.
