2018: Development of a RFID system for fashion-retail

On September 28, 2018 the RST-Invent company provided a RFID tag of Fashion Tag which main feature, according to the developer, is that it is integrated into the textile label from a nylon or sateen cloth sewed directly in a product at a batch otshivka. The received RFID label cannot be removed from a product or is postponed for other product, and thanks to properties of a cloth of a label it cannot mechanically damage a product of their fine and light fabrics.

As noted in RST-Invent, in addition to a tag the company developed for retailers the most complete system for marking, end-to-end accounting and inventory of warehouses and outlets. A RFID system for fashion-retail will provide visibility of data on goods on all logistics chain from its production to implementation points on condition of equipment of each point of a chain with the RFID equipment.

Such system, according to the developer, promotes prevention of losses in connection with deviations in inventory of goods, administrative and accounting deviations and also store thefts, including, made by employees.

Directly in outlets each shelf is equipped with the reader device which monitors presence of goods with specific parameters on the shelf of shop which is in advance assigned to it in an accounting RFID system. Such technological solution will allow retailers to reduce discontent of buyers, having reduced number absent in sales of goods, and to sellers of outlets will release time for customer service, claim in RST-Invent.

Also specialists of the company implement the "smart fitting room" project: the reader device installed in it accumulates information on the goods taken by the buyer and brings to the monitor the offer on addition of a set with other things and accessories from a collection.
