On October 02, 2018 ALP Group carried out IT audit of network infrastructure in Obninskorgsintez production company. As a result of the detailed analysis of network infrastructure which took two weeks the customer had a broad picture describing current status of network. ALP Group also made recommendations about increase in efficiency of network infrastructure. Also outlined the directions of development allowing to upgrade, scale and develop further in the most optimal way network infrastructure of customer company.
The project team investigated:
- topology of local networking and network interconnection;
- methods of connection of client devices to the local computer network (LCN);
- technologies for security of a LAN;
- monitoring systems of network devices;
- approaches of customer company to management of network infrastructure;
- status and settings of active equipment.
Specialists of service company analyzed efficiency of the available program and hardware resources and also the main characteristics of scalability of network infrastructure. Also capability of network was analyzed to provide the continuity of production processes. And, both at regular functioning, and in case of different failures.
According to the results of audit experts of ALP Group defined "bottlenecks" in which failures, hardware failures and other emergency situations are probable. Specialists of ALP Group provided the list of technologies which can increase efficiency of IT infrastructure of the company.
According to the results of the carried-out IT audit ALP Group offered Obninskorgsintez the reference model of network infrastructure constructed on the corresponding models of the equipment of the Enterprise level. And also complex of first-priority measures for reorganization of network service. The companies are going to continue cooperation at procurement cycles of the recommended equipment and design of the updated network IT infrastructure.
