The Metakhaus company announced on October 4, 2018 start in commercial operation within Metacommerce service - services of automatic competitor analysis.
The service consists in automatic classification of goods of competitors on categories of the customer. The technology allows to classify both identical, and nonidentical goods on the basis of their qualitative (production material, color, etc.) and quantitative (the weight, volume, etc.) characteristics. Implementation of the provided service became possible thanks to development of the internal directory of commodity market of Metacommerce and the system of automatic comparison.
If earlier for a similar research of the market it was required months, then with the help of this service automation allowed marketing specialists, category managers and departments of pricing to obtain operational data and to constantly have the finger on the pulse of changes of market conditions. Data collection for the analysis is performed both in online stores, and in real retail. For October, 2018 the assortment analysis is already connected to 6 clients – for them in September, 2018 classification of goods by 1,500 categories was delivered on a flow.
