Nanolek prepares for introduction of marking of drugs using SAP Track&Trace

On October 5, 2018 SAP CIS reported that the Nanolek company completed the first stage of the project on preparation for introduction of obligatory marking of medicines: implemented integration of SAP Advanced Track&Trace for Pharmaceuticals (ATTP) with the state system of tracking of drugs FSIS of the MDLP / GIS "Marking".

Marking of 100% of medicines will become obligatory since 2020. For October, 2018 the offer to enter cryptoprotection when marking drugs is discussed. As well as most the companies, we do not support this offer. It will demand additional investments, will make projects on expansion and localization of production of medicines or a transfer of technologies not such attractive to investors and partners. Nevertheless, we calculate that the selected solution will allow us to conform to all requirements of regulators if it is decided to use cryptoprotection. We do not wait, but we prepare. The pilot project starting in November, 2017 was executed by the Russian representative office of the German company 3Keys which has wide experience in project implementation on Track&Trace on the basis of SAP solutions in pharmaceutics.

On the next stages of the project it is necessary to upgrade production lines and to implement a hardware and software system and also to change production and logistic processes, to train personnel, to complete registration actions. Terms are very compressed and to consider a maximum of nuances, we attracted the international partners with wide experience of similar implementations. Together with Nanolek company we managed to implement the project on integration of the SAP ATTP system into the MDLP FGIS state system. In spite of the fact that prior to obligatory marking of medicines there are nearly one and a half years, we recommend to other participants of the pharmaceutical market to begin project implementation quicker. It is necessary to understand that similar projects affect a large number of key business processes of the pharmaceutical companies, and, with respect thereto, require involvement not only department of IT, but also heads of business.
