2018: Release of Prestigio RoadRunner Mirror

On October 5, 2018 the Prestigio company presented the RoadRunner Mirror video recorder with permission of shooting of Full HD, 7-inch touch screen with the screen, two 12MP-cameras and a viewing angle 120 °.

The model is executed in the form of a mirror which fastens on an original mirror of the car — thanks to it the device externally absolutely imperceptibly. According to the developer, RoadRunner Mirror is multifunction: the model combines functions of the video recorder and the parking monitor. As soon as the driver turns on the reverse gear, RoadRunner Mirror automatically starts the rear-view camera and broadcasts the picture on the mirror screen.

According to the statement of the producer, Full Full HD resolution of video filming guarantees that each part will be visible, and the driver can be sure of the security on the road. The device keeps complete record of events thanks to two cameras — frontal registers everything that occurs before the car, and back informs on the events in salon or behind the car. The rear-view camera can be fixed on a rear bumper of the car, for example, over license plate number that will allow to receive complementary angle of the overview.

The built-in detector of the movement saves memory of the device, and the G-sensor saves the file with incident from cyclic rewriting. The RoadRunner Mirror model is equipped with the NTC sensor protecting the device from overheating and also an OVP system which blocks voltage surge during start of the car, protecting the device from burn-out. The wide angle of the overview (120 °) provides full control over a situation on the road. The four-layer lens from quality glass does not grow turbid and is not scratched, claim in Prestigio.

Fasteners for fastening, the rear-view camera and the car charger (3.6 meters) are included in the delivery. For October, 2018 the video recorder is already available to buyers at the price of 5,990 rub.
