Alfa technologies constructed IT infrastructure of the hothouse complex "Valley of the Sun"

On October 10, 2018 the company Axoft announced system integrator ALFA technologies project completion on creation information infrastructure of a hothouse complex "Valley of the Sun", entering into White Giving Group. Project cost was 17 million rubles. Competent design of all systems allowed to secure business processes a complex against faults external threats and to optimize the budget. IT- the Axoft company acted as the distributor of the project on delivery of software.

Premises and project tasks

The first stage of a hothouse complex occupies the space of 7.2 Hectares, is constructed on the basis of resource-saving technologies of production of vegetable cultures of the closed/protected soil for the purpose of import substitution and increase in their productivity. In the territory of a complex greenhouses on cultivation of tomatoes and salads are located. The uniqueness of a complex is that the block on cultivation of salads is completely automated. For October, 2018 in "The valley of the sun" 500 tons of salads and 1.5 thousand tons of tomatoes a year are grown up.

Before IT specialists of a complex there was a problem of creation "from scratch" of information infrastructure of Valley of the Sun. At the time of the beginning of construction of the enterprise she completely was absent and demanded complex study of the project.

It was necessary to solve a number of problems, in particular, to build the distributed information network, including communication fiber line (fiber-optic communication line), structured cabling system (SCS), control and management system for access (ACS) video surveillance system; integrate telecommunication the equipment; distribute server capacities. Besides, it was required to customize a system IP telephony, the equipment of back supply and cooling, the infrastructure software, devices of end users.

Project Progress

For the solution of assigned tasks the ALFA technologies system integrator selected from result of the competitive procedure was invited.

"The DPC became a core of calculations and a point of switching of all information systems of a complex. For a basis of network infrastructure the equipment Cisco was selected. In total – about 15 devices of different level and appointment: the firewall, switches, wireless points with a possibility of seamless roaming". Within construction of DPC the ALFA technologies company constructed a failover cluster as which basis it was taken server the equipment of HPE. As a hypervisor the software of VMware which allowed to construct virtual infrastructure, to conduct monitoring and to manage it acted. As the software of backup the solution Veeam Backup & Replication was used. According to the results of works the commissioning of all infrastructure systems, network equipment and the equipment of DPC was made.

At development and deployment of security systems solutions in the field of video surveillance of Macroscop and LTV companies were taken as a basis. In total more than 25 surveillance cameras across all territory of the enterprise were deployed.

In turn, the ACS is deployed on products of PERCo company, and the management of all system undertook the software "Orion the missile defense".

Owing to the fact that at an object there were communications which are earlier constructed by road and other services engineers of ALFA technologies had to solve the problems which arose when laying the fiber-optic communication line. In addition specialists of the partner carried out works on transfer of telecommunication wells, replacement of cable passages, a bypass of obstacles.

At initial study of the project the telephony equipment which is used at head office and other branches of customer organization was considered. But for the purpose of budget optimization it was decided to pass to the free solution of computer-integrated telephony open source. The IP telephony was integrated into complex infrastructure, contact with the equipment installed at head office and branches is configured.
