Dixy added verifiability of correctness of the price label and function of its printing in mobile application

On October 16, 2018 Dixy Group announced development of additional functionality for proprietary mobile application.

An opportunity to quickly check correctness of the price label and to instantly print it by means of mobile application is implemented by DIXY Group during the second stage of the project on automation of work of a vertical of sales of retail chain stores. Within implementation of this program the technology of mobile control and problem definition for shops is developed and implemented in productive operation.

Works on implementation of own software solution on a technique of Agile Scrum allowing to automate and systematize work of a vertical of sales in DIXY Group are conducted about a year. For October, 2018 special mobile application is complemented with two functions: check of correctness of the price label of goods on the shelf and an opportunity to instantly print the right price label instead of the detected wrong. First of all managing directors of shops, deputy managing directors and cashiers use the application. Besides, each employee of the company, the person interested to participate in increase in operational efficiency of shops, has an opportunity to install mobile application on the phone and to use it to destination in any shop of network.

Function of mobile application allows any employee of DIXY Group to check correctness of color scheme of the price label depending on that, the promotional discount or not, correctness of the specified price, goods cost on a barcode applies to it. The application functions based on operating system Android, automatically joins to Wi-Fi shop and to the printer without additional settings, a system defines in what shop there is an employee and shows the prices of this shop. For October, 2018 the application was already downloaded and use in work already more than 5000 employees of the company. It is very convenient not only for the area managers checking shops, territorial heads or the staff of office, but also for linear personnel of each specific shop. The software solution brought by DIXY Group into operation in the summer of 2018 can use for work both on the personal PC, and on mobile devices, including - the data collection terminal (DCT). Functions of photo and video filming, copying of information on other devices allow its users from among the staff of retail chain stores quickly to send online reports with the description and photos of results of the carried-out tasks. Earlier the application was already successfully tested by leadership team of management company and outlets. Also within the project mobile jobs for managing directors in 640 shops of Moscow were equipped. It helps managing directors of shops to be more effective performed by the duties to which including quality check of implementable products, formation of orders and requests for maintenance, updating and printing of price labels and other routine tasks in a trading floor using the main working tool - the data collection terminal (DCT) belong.

So far the check program of the prices is started only for internal use by the staff of the company. Further it is supposed to expand audience of users of this function of the application and to give an opportunity to buyers to check with its help of goods price in shops of network as an alternative standard a price-chekeru. And in the nearest future it is going to implement some more technological solutions, held for use not only the staff of retail chain stores, but also buyers. A main objective of the implemented project – quality improvement and efficiency of service of buyers.
