Sygnia  is the Israeli consulting company specializing in information security. It is based by division 8200 — the Israeli military structure which is engaged in radio-electronic investigation (an analog of the American National Security Agency). According to information from the website Sygnia, the company proposes "military solutions" for response to incidents in the field of cyber security and consulting services in the field of cybersecurity worldwide.

Offices Sygnia are located in Tel Aviv and New York. The company is formed in 2015, and is among her clients several largest corporations from the list of Fortune 100 representing such industries as IT, telecommunications, logistics, production and finance. 

Sygnia is one of four companies created by holding Team8 of the former commander of division of military investigation 8200 Nadava Tsafrira. In due time invested the companies in Team8 Microsoft Cisco AT&T Accenture, Nokia and Temasek. But the small amount — about $4.3 million was invested in Sygnia.

History

2018: Temasek purchased Sygnia for $250 million

In the middle of October, 2018 the Singapore investment company Temasek which has projects in Russia, announced Sygnia purchase. Though the transaction price is officially not set, the amount from the informed source — about $250 million is known to the ZDNet edition.

Temasek says that Sygnia will continue independent work and it will not be merged into other company.

Terms of agreement provide that the founder and the CEO of Sygnia Shachar Levy will continue to direct the company, and cofounders Ariel Smoler and Ami Kor will remain at "key" positions.[1]
