The Group-IB company, the international company specializing in prevention of cyber attacks, and Academy of the Department of MIA announced on October 23, 2018 cooperation in the field of increase in the professional grade of teachers and students of academy, carrying out joint scientific research concerning prevention, identification and investigation of cybercrimes.

The relevant agreement was signed by Andrey Konev, the chief of academy, and Ilya Sachkov, the CEO and the founder of Group-IB company. Cooperation of Group-IB and academy will consist in training of highly qualified specialists for law-enforcement bodies, mutual exchange of training, methodical, scientific, statistical, analytical materials, carrying out joint scientific research, master classes, implementation of educational programs.

The management of Academy repeatedly participated in the international Group-IB conferences on cyber security — CyberCrimeCon, this year within the action there passed working meeting on which the parties discussed issues of joint activity in the educational sphere and also in the field of scientific research of problems of digital criminalistics.
