2019: Results of automation of a budgeting system

On April 4, 2019 the CORUS Consulting company announced project completion on creation of an automated system of budgeting on a cloud platform of Anaplan in BNS Group.

For simplification of process of budgeting and increase in the detail level of planning due to fast processing of large volumes of data management of the company made the decision on implementation of the Anaplan platform. The customer created Competence Center of Anaplan in the state that allowed the company to execute partially the project by own forces, involving experts of integrator to training of business users and the solution of the most difficult tasks.

Implementation of the platform allowed BNS Group to refuse the MS Excel models which were applied to acceleration of processes of budgeting completely. It helped not only to reduce quantity of errors when calculating of the increasing amount of data, but also to simplify budgeting process in general. In addition the company implemented report forms which were not used in the previous system because of complexity of programming. In addition BNS Group had an opportunity to model different scenarios with high extent of detailing and to browse calculation results in real time that is useful and it is convenient at protection of the annual budget.

The flexibility of a system and knowledge of own business processes allowed BNS Group to complete implementation without writing of the volume and outdate technical and methodological documentation. Competences of specialists of retailer allow to make without the aid of external consultants changes to a business model of the company and to execute calculations already for the created model.

2018: Beginning of the project on creation of an automated system of budgeting

On October 24, 2018 CORUS Consulting Group announced the beginning of the project on creation of an automated system of budgeting on a cloud platform of Anaplan in BNS Group.

Earlier the BNS Group financial service used the MS Excel and the software of Prophix for budgeting. Collecting and consolidation of budgets required a lot of time, there was no opportunity to carry out difficult calculations of budgets and scenario real-time analysis because of a large number of separate tables. The management of group made the decision to increase efficiency of financial planning due to simplification of process of collecting of the budget, increase in data transparency and a possibility of modeling and data analysis in real time.

As a result of a careful research of the market in search of the tool for the solution of these tasks the Anaplan platform which provides a unified environment for the solution of a set of tasks of business planning and allows business users to develop independently the models, to create different scenarios and forecasts, to model online was selected.

For project implementation CORUS Consulting Group was invited. In BNS Group the Competence Center of Anaplan was created that will allow the customer to develop in the future a system by own forces, without attracting external consultants.

In project plans integration of Anaplan with the existing ERP system based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV for loading of the fact and creation the plan/fact of reports.
