2018: Announcement

In October, 2018 the Dutch company Philips Healthcare provided a new complex of the radiological systems and the software for inspection and therapy of oncological patients. Having integrated the systems of visualization with intellectual software for planning of treatment, Philips received the system for support of adoption of medical solutions providing the accelerated treatment and the raising satisfaction of patients.

Philips Healthcare provided the simulator of KT Philips Big Bore RT

The computer tomography is the key instrument of planned radiation therapy. Understanding it, Philips started the new Big Bore RT system which allows to localize precisely a tumor, to calculate density of fabric and to carry out segmentation. Such visualization plays a crucial role in the choice of tactics of treatment, increases the accuracy of delivery of radiation therapy and reaction of the patient to treatment.

Big Bore RT represents the KT specialized simulator developed for working off of critical clinical solutions at all stages of diagnostics, choice of tactics and treatment of onkopatsiyent. The newest technologies of reconstruction of iterative model which provides visualization of fine details and fine structures are built in a system. Process takes less than three minutes, allows to improve image quality and accelerates automatic segmentation.

Pinnacle Evolution – the software of new generation for the personalized treatment planning is the cornerstone of a complex of new tools of Philips. Given software includes new technology of optimization of the radiation therapy (IMRT) and rotational therapy modulated on intensity with modulation of volume of studying (VMAT).

Using the system of the personalized planning clinical physicians will be able quickly to develop individual plans of treatment for each patient, providing high quality of radiation therapy, said in the press release of the producer.[1]
