2019: Updating of EDMS to the version of Docsvision 5.5 in Kamchataeronavigation

The electronic document management system increased efficiency of Kamchataeronavigation branch of Federal State Unitary Enterprise State Corporation on Air Traffic Management. On February 11, 2020 the Digital Design company integrator reported about it.

Kamchataeronavigation branch Federal State Unitary Enterprise State Corporation on Air Traffic Management carries out housekeeping tasks of air traffic in the Kamchatka region, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and eleven centers and departments of Department of Internal Affairs are its part a traffic department. The branch successfully executes programs of hardware upgrade, equipping of jobs of specialists modern technology and convenient instruments of work.

Since 2010 for work with internal documents, statements and citizens' appeals Kamchataeronavigation branch Federal State Unitary Enterprise State Corporation on Air Traffic Management uses the solution which is set up on the domestic Docsvision platform. Technical support of the project and work on development of EDMS is provided by Digital Design company. EDMS Docsvision showed the efficiency and expediency as the instrument of process automation of office-work. During this time work on entering and outgoing, contractual, administrative, directory and organizational by documents and also to memos was transferred to an electronic format.

For increase in efficiency of a system in December, 2019 updating of the platform to the version of Docsvision 5.5 which appeared at the end of 2018 was carried out, and the web client is implemented. The updated architecture of the Docsvision 5.5 platform is constructed as a result of studying of world experience of creation of the high-loaded systems, scaled technologies of services and completely meets the requirements to EDMS in a situation when volumes of the processed data and the number of the users involved in work increase.

Updating of a system was executed with preserving of all information and the changes made in use by EDMS, including settings of the interface of users. Considering long-term work experience in a system and its administrations and also thanks to flexibility and the intuitive interface EDMS on the Docsvision platform, the staff of Kamchataeronavigation branch can independently perform user preferences. Implementation of the web client allowed to attract to a full-fledged work in EDMS of users of remote divisions to whom earlier documents and tasks arrived in the letter mode with investments.

Thus, work in EDMS allowed branch to improve operational efficiency, to strengthen control, to increase the level of performing discipline, to automate job control. Implementation of the web client automated document flow in remote structural divisions of branch and provided a permanent feedback with users of remote divisions.

Project terms: April-October, 2006.

Within the project it is planned:

  • creation of uniform electronic archive of documents;
  • automation of standard tasks of office of registration and mailing of correspondence in the company;
  • control of performing discipline under resolutions;
  • automation of contractual process (approval).

All structural divisions of General directorate will be covered.

Within system implementation it is provided:

  • creation of a layered design of archive of electronic documents and registration cards, with differentiation of access rights of users;
  • possibility of report generation on document flow of the company: to types, document types, details of registration cards (to dates, correspondents, etc.) and also on control of execution of documents (on the performed, not performed documents, contractors, officials, dates, completion dates).

Version: 3.5 Number of users: 100-120 people, at the same time 100. Further the planned number of users of a system - 200-250 people. Solution type: setup of the Office-work and Process management applications.
