2018: Announcement of IoT Connect Anywhere
On November 1, 2018 the international service -provider Orange Business Services reported that it will accelerate implementation of projects Internet of Things for business using IoT Connect Anywhere, the solution for connection of smart objects to LPWA network on the basis of the open LoRa standard. IoT Connect Anywhere allows to create a local network for deployment of the intercomputer communications at distances to 20 km that can be applied in a number of the directions: from smart cities and agriculture to logistics systems and industrial enterprises.
IoT Connect Anywhere allows the companies to create scalable end-to-end network connections between smart devices and the platform of data management Datavenue collecting and analyzing unstructured data, and after – taking from them information, most valuable to business.
LoRa is the low-cost energy efficient network technology capable to provide wireless data transmission on long distances that does it suitable for communication in areas with the crossed relief, in the dense urban environment or among a set of industrial facilities. Only small gateways equipped with antennas are necessary for implementation of this technology consuming about 15 times less than energy, than a mobile network. Enciphering, and in addition to the protection gears put in the LoRaWAN protocol allows to guarantee complete security of LoRa network, the solution IoT Connect Anywhere includes the system of safe transportation of data between the gateway and network and data transmission on HTTPS. Thus, all connections between the browser and the website are ciphered and most protected.
Completely to implement the capacity of Internet of Things, it is necessary to provide flexible deployment and the reliable protected connection. Within our strategy, IoT Connect Anywhere meets these requirements, eliminating difficulties at connection of IoT-devices. The solution provides to our clients end-to-end connection, providing a reliable communication at each stage of data transmission.
