Manchester United buys the medical equipment of Canon for diagnostics and treatment of injuries of football players

On November 5, 2018 sports doctors, it was entrusted to them to keep shape of football players Manchester United, signed the agreement with Canon company and bought the medical equipment for diagnostics and treatment of critically significant injuries. Thanks to the transaction the medical center Aon of football club purchased the CT-A Aquiion ONE ViSION Edition KT-scanner, the Vantage Titan 3T MR MRT-scanner, the ultrasonic Aplio 500 scanner and the portable ultrasonic Viamo system.

Doctors of football club note that high quality of the equipment of Canon allowed them to reach new level visualization and diagnosis of injuries. Now they can be sure of the set diagnosis and if necessary regularly carry out the clinical assessment. As specialists note. the purchased MRT-scanner provides the vysokodetalizirovannny image in three planes, and the KT-scanner is irreplaceable during the monitoring of healing of cracks and assessment of bone and soft tissues.

Partnership with Canon as the doctor of club Steve McNally notes allowed to create a unique environment for work where medical specialists can creatively use all available opportunities, quickly estimate results of intervention and use them for maintenance of health of a command.

The manager of the team Ryan Giggs considers that Manchester United not for nothing became the Great Britain's first football club which dared to buy the best modern equipment, and similar expenditure will soon pay off.

The Canon company also does not stand still – it announced partnership with RaySearch RayStation and RayCare. Joint efforts of two companies will be concentrated on creation of more effective workflow integrating visualization tools and planning of radiation therapy.[1]
