Afanasy increased the accuracy of selection of orders in a warehouse to 99% thanks to SAP EWM

On November 7, 2018 the SAP company announced project completion on SAP EWM system implementation for process automation on finished goods warehouses in Afanasy holding.

The company selected the SAP solution EWM to increase percent of accomplishment of orders and assembling accuracy, to reduce quantity of errors when loading.

The TLS company which has industry experience of projects implementation on automation of warehouses in the sector of the food industry and deep examination on complex implementation of integration projects acted as the partner.

Thanks to transition to SAP EWM to the companies the speed of completing of warehouse orders due to transition to address storage and failure from paper technologies considerably grew, the percent of errors on the nomenclature and dates of production was reduced, there was an opportunity online of monitoring of warehouse resources, stocks, documents, there was a binding of orders to vehicles that allowed to exclude errors when loading.

For November, 2018, as a result of the implementing solution SAP EWM acceptance time from production was reduced by 20%, at the same time the quantity of the attracted resources decreased. Accuracy of selection reached 99%, the processing speed of weight products increased by 10%, and the speed of loading of cars in a working shift per day - for 50%.
