Hardware-software solutions for management of Wi-fi access points

On November 12, 2018 the QTECH company, the Russian producer of network and telecommunication equipment, announced release of ready-made hardware-software solutions for management of Wi-fi access points.

Virtual Wi-Fi the QWC-WM controller based on servers of the QSRV series allows to service at the same time several thousands of access points (external and internal, including from different producers) and to manage Wi-Fi network practically of any scale.

On platforms of the QSRV series it is possible to implement the hardware-software solution which can be set both in local ̆ to network of the client, and in a cloud of the operator or service provider.

QTECH noted that also other options of combination of the virtual controller with QSRV series servers — depending on needs of the customer and the sphere of use of the equipment are possible.

For November, 2018 virtual universal Wi-Fi the QTECH (QWC-WM) controller is completely software solution which can be set both in the local area network of the client, and in a cloud of the operator or service of provider.

According to manufacturer representatives, features of use of the controller are:

• Significant reduction in cost of a wireless network due to use of inexpensive access points and also replacements of hardware Wi-Fi of controllers with the software solution.
• Economy on purchase of software for management of complete lifecycle of Wi-fi of network, the choice of services under project tasks.
• Providing broad enrollment of program interfaces (API) that allows operators and service providers to develop and implement the modern services managed by Wi-fi based on the QTECH platform.
