2018: Opening of a country house

At the beginning of November, 2018 on Maldives the first-ever underwater country house under the name Muraka located at a depth of 5 meters under the surface of the Indian Ocean opened. It is constructed by the Conrad Hotels & Resorts company entering into the Hilton Worldwide group.

Actually luxury hotel is provided by two levels – surface and underwater, and from both the impressive type opens. Construction of a country house cost $15 million, but owners are sure that costs will easily pay off, one night in this hotel costs $50,000. Guests are brought here on a private seaplane or the high-speed boat from the main part of the resort from which the country house is deleted on rather long distance. Owners of Muraka suggest to provide to guests complete privacy of rest.

To services of guests at the top level the private gym, bar, the outdoor pool overlooking the ocean and the private mooring are provided. Throughout all rest the private high-speed boat is provided to guests in lease. In an underwater part of hotel sleeping numbers from the living room in all-glass "aquarium" are located.

Transparent walls allow to watch freely life of the Indian Ocean - the view from the underwater bedroom on the underwater world is open by 180 degrees. In total in hotel about nine guests can accommodate. For each guest there will be a bedroom with two single beds, and at the top level the additional bedroom with a bed of the king-size size and bathrooms for all guests is located. Besides, the hotel is fully completed by the best personnel, including provides to guests the round-the-clock services of the butler and chef.

On Maldives the first-ever underwater country house opened. The price in a night — $50 thousand.

The Tokyo firm Yuji Yamazaki Architecture was engaged in design of a tel, and the 600-ton premises of a country house were created in Singapore. He was brought to the island on the specialized vessel and fixed on ten concrete piles capable to hold a country house during an outflow or even a storm.[1]
