In November, 2018 the Japanese postal service Japan Post officially began to use drones for delivery of documents in Fukushima. Drones even more often are considered as an effective method of fight against labor shortage, and mail of Japan intends to use them for a start as the instrument of delivery of documents in deleted – in particular rural and mountain – regions of the country, and then and in general on islands.

The drone which Japan Post began to use for delivery of documents

The first trial flight was marked by delivery of New Year's cards with drones which were drawn by children from local school – the parcel post was sent from post office in Minamisom at 9 in the morning and arrived in Namye who is in 9.6 km in 15 minutes. The unmanned aerial vehicle used by mail is capable to reach the maximum speed of 54 kilometers per hour.

So far she is going to use the drone six days a month within two daily flights there and back, but is already going to expand use of unmanned aerial vehicles if they like the first results of this project. The century industry realized the potential of the modern tool and, certainly, intends to use it.[1]
