ROS was never intended for commercial operation. It is the tremendous tool for researches, but if to speak about security and reliability, it is not intended for this purpose — the founder of Apex.AI Jan Becker reported.

According to Becker, in some operating systems at simultaneous background work of several applications there can be delays in several milliseconds. It can be neglected if software works on the smartphone or the notebook, but in the unmanned vehicle the difference when braking can be noticeable.

We pass through each code line and we guarantee that enough time is selected for accomplishment of processes, crucial for security — Becker told.
