Avanpost IDM controls access to information systems of the international airports of Sochi, Krasnodar and Anapa

2020: Implementation of Avanpost IDM 6.0

On May 26, 2020 the Avanpost company announced completion of implementation of the Avanpost IDM 6.0 software product at three airports of Krasnodar Krai. Within this project the single system of access control of employees of Sochi Airports, Krasnodar and Anapa to key information systems is created and put into commercial operation. The number of users of IDM exceeds 1500 people.

According to the company, for May, 2020 the airports of Krasnodar Krai apply a set of versatile information systems, paying paramount attention to their security. Creation of a single system of access control for three airports — Sochi, Krasnodar and Anapa and also Avanpost IDM choice as its bases became the next big stride in this direction.

According to the plan of the customer, an IDM system had to reduce risks of information security and increase efficiency cybersecurity and IT departments. In this project these objectives are achieved. So, are reduced to a delay minimum by providing access to information systems for all distributed network of jobs, and this process is unified and transparent now. The customer had control facilities as behind presence of the provided access at users, and behind correctness, timeliness and coordination of reconfiguration of access rights in connection with different personnel events: employment and dismissal, official movements, holidays, inclusion of the employee in project teams, etc. The risk of emergence of "dead souls" and savings of the excess rights and also other risks of cybersecurity connected with accomplishment manually of a flow of change orders of access rights is eliminated.

Integration of Avanpost IDM with the personnel system of the customer as with a source of personnel events became the central part of the project and also be near a direct systems, access to which controls Avanpost IDM. In this project the approach which allowed to connect to Avanpost IDM an extensive landscape of IT systems based on the 1C Platform and also to perform the unified integration from instansa, to establish end-to-end relation of all connected systems and to manage information on users (it is scattered on instansa and is strongly blocked) using the IDs got from a personnel system was developed.

During implementation of Avanpost IDM full audit of information systems and their classification taking into account features of models of security was booked. Also technical solutions which will allow further us were developed, working by uniform rules, to independently expand the list of the connected systems. Besides, all revealed discrepancies and problems were corrected, and the systems are prepared for connection to IDM. In further plans of the company connection of additional information systems, increase in number of users and their involvement in processes of management of access using the tools which are available in Avanpost Workflow self-service subsystem. Improvement of role models and ensuring processes of automation of providing access at more detailed level is planned.
