Rostelecom in North Ossetia connected the republican center of the pulmonary help to the Internet

On November 23, 2018 the Rostelecom company reported that it laid a communication fiber line to the mountain settlement Upper Fiagdon in North Ossetia and connected the republican center of the pulmonary help to the Internet. According to the company, the created infrastructure will allow physicians to apply the following technologies and to carry out treatment which to patients specialists of the leading clinics of the country can appoint now. Thanks to digital technologies the quality of delivery of health care many times will increase, patients will have a possibility of use of additional services and services, and doctors have a possibility of life-long professional education and advanced training without separation from work location.

Considering the social importance, the management of Rostelecom included the center of the pulmonary help in the list of the medical organizations of the first stage planned for connection to the Internet in 2018. For project implementation specialists of the company carried out 26 km of optics in the conditions of the difficult crossed landscape of the mountain area. Till November, 2018 connection to Internet network in the settlement happened only through cellular operators that was not sufficient for providing objects of social infrastructure with high-quality digital communication.

The pulmonary center – for November, 2018 the hospital of a similar profile, only in the south of Russia. Annually there undergo treatment about three thousand people not only from among inhabitants of the republic, but also from subjects of all North Caucasian Federal District and other regions of Russia. The Internet is vital here. But also the fact that thanks to the laid optics Internet access was got by rural school, Recreation center and other socially important objects of our settlement is important. In plans of the company until the end of 2018 to connect to the Internet the medical organizations in 45 rural settlements of the republic. Within the public contract with the Ministry of digital development, communication and mass communications in the territory of North Ossetia Rostelecom will construct about 100 km of fiber lines of communication.
