William Green is a chairman of the board of directors and the chief executive officer of Accenture company. Performs not only functions of the chairman of the board, but also bears responsibility for management of the company, a task and execution of long-term strategy, bears responsibility for customer interactions, employees, investors and shareholders. For Green the right of acceptance of the final decisions as concerning the company, and its corporate policy lies. Green creates image of Accenture, its ethics and culture.
William is known for high requirements to employees of the company, respects labor ethics, works for result. Has property to try to obtain arrangement of clients and to maintain the long relations with them.
Has the bachelor's degree in the field of economy and science, the honorary doctor of science of Babson College.
It is sure that we live during an era of "the new competition". "Difficult it is necessary all. A question not in whether you will be able to succeed from the first. Anybody manages it practically. The question is in whether there will be enough at you persistence to sustain shocks – geopolitical, economic, trade. Whether there will be enough at you will to keep attention on the selected purpose. Because finally you will be asked what you could reach. And will interest nobody, what is the time it borrowed how many mistakes you made and how many attempts you had to make. "Work in Accenture is an adventure which in my case lasts 30 years, - Green says. – I would like to work as the diamond partner of Accenture. The diamond partner in our company call those who bring it more than $100 million a year. On such people our organization keeps. It is the best work which I can imagine".
Biography
Green joined Anderson Consulting (nowadays Accenture) in 1977, and in 1986 became the partner of the company. Entered into Board of Directors. Held a position of the director of division of Accenture in the USA, headed different business divisions of the company.
From 1999 to 2003 – the chief executive of Communications & High Tech, Accenture. Under the leadership of Green this division became the largest in Accenture.
On September 1, 2004 Green held a position of the chief executive officer of Accenture. Before becoming the CEO, he worked as the chief operating officer.
Family
William and his wife have two children.

Other activity
Is a member of Business Roundtable, the chairman of the board of Education, Innovation and Workforce Initiative. William Green is also a member of G100 and is a part of Infocomm Development Authority advisory group in Singapore. Repeatedly took part at the conferences devoted to the international business and technologies where was one of interesting figures.
