2024: Revenue growth 23.9% to ₽31,6 billion

The revenue of Ammoniy JSC in 2024 increased by 23.9% and reached ₽31,63 billion. Despite the positive dynamics in terms of income, the company's net profit decreased by 46% and amounted to ₽5,71 billion compared to the result of 2023 of ₽10,66 billion. Such information is contained in the accounting statements of the enterprise under RAS, published in April 2025.

According to Kommersant, the bulk of the company's income was provided by the sale of urea (₽20,13 billion) and ammonium nitrate (₽8,63 billion), other products accounted for ₽2,87 billion. The cost of sales increased by 7% to ₽14,42 billion. Gross profit increased by 42% to ₽17,21 billion, profit from sales - by 19% to ₽8,43 billion.

The most significant change in the financial position of the company was the redistribution of the debt burden. Long-term liabilities decreased by 90% - from ₽58,7 billion to ₽5,98 billion, while short-term liabilities increased 3.6 times to ₽70,11 billion. In the structure of long-term liabilities, long-term borrowed funds decreased especially noticeably - from ₽51,47 billion to ₽140 million.

At the same time, short-term loans increased from ₽15,25 billion to ₽62,99 billion, which is twice the company's annual revenue. Commercial expenses amounted to ₽7,83 billion, managerial - ₽944,93 million. The level of interest expenses remained comparable to the previous year - ₽3,46 billion.

The company's assets grew by 5% to ₽69,62 billion, of which ₽55,68 billion are non-current assets (an increase of 3%). The company's fixed assets are estimated at ₽31,99 billion, deferred tax assets - ₽12,95 billion, financial investments - ₽5,93 billion. Current assets increased by 15% to ₽13,94 billion.

Operating cash flow decreased by 35% to ₽9,08 billion. Ammonium allocated ₽4,88 billion for investment activities, including ₽3,11 billion for the acquisition of shares in other organizations. The total outflow of funds amounted to ₽131,42 million, the balance at the end of the year - ₽1,04 billion.[1]

History

2023: Ex-CEO arrested

On December 21, 2023, the Basmanny Court of Moscow authorized the arrest of Rinat Khanbikov, the former chairman of the board of directors of the Tatarstan-based Ammoniy JSC and the ex-general director of Gazprom Transgaz Kazan. He is a defendant in a criminal case on particularly large-scale fraud (part 4 of article 159) committed as part of an organized group using his official position. Read more here.
