2018: Announcement of the program
On November 25, 2018 submitted to Siemens Healthineers the software of Syngo Virtual Cockpit for KT-, MRT- and PET-scanners at the annual RSNA exhibition to Chicago.
This software allows experts-radiologists to offer the help to less experienced specialists in network of health care during the difficult procedures, for example, of inspections of heart. Contact is kept remotely. Experts are in real time connected to the interface of the radiologist working with the patient, using headsets, columns for conferences or function of a chat and video. They can make oral recommendations or actually take the scanner under own control thanks to the software of Siemens syngo Expert-i. For example, they can configure settings of the protocol of the scanner for specific inspection.
It is software also is suitable for the educational purposes, allowing specialists to execute difficult inspections under control of the teacher. Besides, in need of Syngo Virtual Cockpit it can be used by the whole team of experts.
Software of Syngo Virtual Cockpit can also reduce costs on a health care system. Thanks to remote access to any scanners which specialists receive when using this software they are saved from need to be present personally at other medical institution and can dispose more effectively of the time, and the medical institution can use uninvolved transport with other purposes. At the same time standardization of inspections will provide more exact diagnostics that will affect the remote results of treatment. Syngo Virtual Cockpit can be used with KT-and MRT/PET-skanerami Siemens Healthiners.
As reported in the press release, Syngo Virtual Cockpit will appear in the commercial market on December 1, 2019.[1]
