In the city of Agidel the automated control system for street lighting is implemented

According to the message of November 29, 2018 in Agidel the automated control system for street lighting is implemented. Costs for outside lighting occupy a considerable part in expenses on the electric power in municipal city budget. Holding energy saving actions in lighting units gives significant savings of the electric power. One of effective energy saving actions is implementation of the Automated control system for outside lighting.

For the choice of system provider and the contractor tender on marketplace was exposed. Tender was won by Matrix IT company. Proposed solution completely conformed to technical and cost requirements.

For project implementation the Matrix IT company used the solution of own development – a hardware and software system "the automated fire control system: Matriks", consisting of the control cabinet lighting, the software of the bottom level, and the client application.

In the course of implementation on 28 directions of lighting of the city control cabinets were installed. Control of lighting is made far off, using the client application having the intuitive and simple interface. Display of objects, their status, and also parameters of electricity consumption are presented in the form of the table and on the map of the city.

Hardware and software system "automated fire control system: Matriks" allows to switch on and off lighting of the city on the set schedule, on geographical coordinates (the astronomical timer), on the photosensor and manually. Also a system carries out a survey of indications of metering devices of the electric power (ASCAPC), creates report forms and mailings for the power supplying enterprises. Besides, there is a dispatching function – a system signals about the increased consumption, about unauthorized connections, about emergency situations, about idle lamps.

The automated control system for lighting – an effective control method of lighting and power saving. In city administration Agidel are going to sum up the results of the held energy saving event at the end of 2018.
