GfK-Trax In-store Intelligence is the solution for efficiency evaluation of the calculation and a research of trade space.
2018: Announcement
On December 3, 2018 the GfK company announced that it signs the cooperation agreement with Trax. According to the company, GfK and Trax will work jointly on providing digital-insights for technology brands and the industry of durable goods.
GfK and Trax will provide common sindikativny offering of In-store Intelligence which will help sales and trade marketing specialists with solving of tasks of planning of the marketing budget, efficiency evaluation of campaigns, positioning of a product and pricing. For the industry of technologies and durable goods the possibility of comprehensive understanding of a situation in shop will appear.
The GfK and Trax project includes own data of GfK from outlets and the catalogued information and also own sensing technologies of images of Trax, the platform of a business intelligence and the platform of computer vision.
Since November 29, 2018 the solution is available in several countries of Europe and also in Brazil. The list of the countries where the solution GfK-Trax will appear will increase in the near future, start in Russia is planned in 2019.
Partnership will allow us to use strengths of both companies: for GfK it is data of retailers and examination in the market of technology goods and durable goods and also own analytical solutions.
