Aplana helps the Vietnamese bank to hold complex testing and to increase quality of IT systems

On December 5, 2018 Aplan announced end of a part of works within the complex project of testing and ensuring quality of the information systems VPBank – one of private banks of Vietnam. During the project specialists of Aplana held stress testing of Internet bank, works on functional and stress testing of other applications are conducted. In total 11 IT systems of bank entered a circuit of the project.

The strategy of VPBank is directed to rapid growth in a retail segment. For its implementation the bank needed to be convinced of reliability of the IT systems, to receive independent quality evaluation and to optimize their work. According to the results of tender by the contractor the Aplana company was selected.

Aplana offered a number of alternative technology tools that allowed to refuse purchase of expensive licenses for IT solutions. At the expense of it it was succeeded to reduce project cost almost by one million dollars.

At first stress testing of the updated Internet bank was held. During the project it was succeeded to determine the maximum capacity of systems and to detect "narrow" places in the software. Then the project team of Aplana started stress testing of six critical systems and automation of test model for conducting functional testing of four more IT systems of bank.
