The hardware and software system Kraftway ShortTrack Video Replay developed for needs of Russian Skating Union is intended for automation of refereeing of competitions in short track (speed skating on a short track).
Appointment
Refereeing in short track is very difficult procedure, judges can not always unambiguously identify a situation. For increase in objectivity and quality of refereeing the system of a video review of the competitions Kraftway ShortTrack Video Replay is used.
A system is also applied in training process by athletes, trainers, and consultants.
2018: Description
The complex is intended for automation of refereeing of competitions in short track, increase in objectivity and transparency at decision making of the referee. For December, 2018 development of Kraftway allows to keep continuous record of runnings in high quality from five surveillance cameras. Athletes with guarantee are in a visibility range of at least three cameras.
For fixing of disputed issues of the judge (the referee and its assistants) place tags in a video flow using remote sensors. In need of detailed analysis of a situation of the referee of competitions after the running browses records from surveillance cameras in the most convenient foreshortening.
