Moscow; Food industry

Product: SCS projects and wireless network infrastructure

Project date: 2018/06  - 2018/11

On December 4, 2018 the Aruba company announced completion of works on deployment of a wireless network in Ochakovo - one of producers of natural drinks in Russia. The Navigator company acted as the partner who is responsible for technical implementation of the project.

This project was a part of large-scale technical updating of seven warehouse and the adjoining street territories as a result of which work of warehouses was completely automated.

The lack of permanently set racks was one of essential features of this project - products were placed directly on pallets according to the marking applied on a floor. Besides, heterogeneity of structure and existence of products packaged in aluminum jars could block a radio signal of Wi-Fi-points, in turn.

Specialists of Navigator company carried out careful radio inspection which allowed to offer the effective, reliable and convenient solution in operation. The location of each point was counted on a preparatory stage of project implementation so that to exclude formation of dead bands on a trajectory of the movement of auto-loaders.

As access points the Aruba AP-215 models and also Aruba AP-214 with portable antennas AP-ANT-38 for them were used. For management Aruba 7010 controllers were selected, each of which is capable to support to 32 daughters of access once. Access points mainly fastened under a ceiling at the height of 8 meters. Street points were fixed on a portable bar.

The implemented project completely corresponds to assigned tasks and the selected budget. The subsequent operation of the constructed Wi-Fi-network confirmed its fault tolerance, high quality of a signal and security.
