EverTrack is the platform for geomonitoring of motor transport. The product is intended for collecting and the analysis of indicators of movement of vehicles and control of cargo delivery. Its implementation is relevant both for the logistic companies, and for manufacturing and trade enterprises which need to manage big vehicle fleet or to control actions of contractors.
2018: EverTrack. Basic solution and additional opportunities
The EverTrack platform is own development of Everpoint company.
Basic solution
For November, 2018 the basic solution allows to store information on drivers, vehicles and also allowing documentation: driver's licenses, permissions to transportation of dangerous loads, the papers confirming passing of medical examinations, checkups and many other things. As a result for the client a common information space for control of process of transportations is created.
The built-in algorithm of fixing of the high-speed mode allows to keep track of quality of driving. A system notices sharp acceleration and braking, aggressive driving as in Uber and in " Yandex.taxi ". It helps to maintain quality of driving up to standard.
In addition, a system is able to fix the beginning and completion of works, measures and calculates the actual volume of the rendered transport services (machine-hours, a run, a shoulder closed sleighs), checks execution of plans and the reporting, creates waybills.
A system fixes and allows to analyze different incidents on the road, for example: if in the machine there was any technical failure, then "the disturbing button" works and the signal of a problem on the road goes. If someone tries to open the sensor, and it in the machine is sealed, then too there is a signal. All this occurs quickly online.
EverTrack perfectly works with large volumes of data. On average a system collects and processes about 15 thousand packets with data in a minute. The packet with data is a set of data on the vehicle. The structure of data can differ depending on requirements, but usually contains:
- identification number of the exchange telematic service station;
- geographical coordinates (width and longitude) of location of the vehicle;
- vehicle motion speed;
- traveling corner of the vehicle;
- time and date of fixing of location of the vehicle;
- sign of clicking of the disturbing button — the message about an incident;
- measure values of the equipment installed on the vehicle:
- sensors of safe driving (accelerometer),
- sensors of a status of seat belts,
- sensors of operation of the upper equipment.
The normal user works with a system using the browser, it is not necessary to install anything on the computer. If necessary a system can be on the customer's server. If in a system it is going to store confidential information, for example, of data on highways of internal use or special production territories, then it is possible to close access to similar data "from the outside". The flexible functional role model allowing is provided in a system is detailed to configure access to the interface and data.
A system supports authorization through the Active Directory, integration with MS Exchange, 1C (for transfer of waybills from 1C in EverTrack), other monitoring systems using the EGTS protocol.
Additional opportunities of the platform
The flexibility of the EverTrack platform allows to implement a set of additional functions on its base. So, at the request of the customer the basic solution can be supplemented with cartographic reports which will promote increasing the level of security of traffic. The type and a status of a paving, dangerous sections and also road accident will be shown on the map.
Mobile application for drivers can become useful addition to a system. It will help to construct a route: itself will consider the plotted tags, will offer several options (the shortest route; the route most of which part passes on roads with a covering, etc.) and will provide information on each of them — will specify extent and will list road sections on which the movement is necessary (5 km on the highway, 10 km on the winter road, etc.). Also drivers will be able quickly to transmit through this application to managers information on problems on the road (road accident, extreme weather conditions, etc.).
All this will help to raise the security level of traffic and to provide the due level of informatization for management of transport services in the company, noted in Everpoint.
