The updated system of a video review for short track of Kraftway underwent approbation at competitions in Krasnoyarsk

On December 5, 2018 the Kraftway company reported that it tested the updated option of a system of video reviews for short track. According to the company, testing took place during the competitions among students of the Russian universities in the Krasnoyarsk ice arena "Arena North".

The Kraftway ShortTrack Video Replay complex is intended for automation of refereeing of competitions in short track, increase in objectivity and transparency at decision making of the referee. Development of Kraftway allows to keep continuous record of runnings in high quality from five surveillance cameras. For December, 2018 athletes are in a visibility range of at least three cameras. For fixing of disputed issues of the judge (the referee and its assistants) place tags in a video flow using remote sensors. In need of detailed analysis of a situation of the referee of competitions after the running browses records from surveillance cameras in the most convenient foreshortening.

A number of improvements according to requirements of the International federation of university sport (FISU) which is responsible for the organization of Universiades was entered to the updated system of a video review for short track tested in Krasnoyarsk. For the purpose of quality improvement and convenience of refereeing in a system opportunities for work with the managed rotary cameras, tracking of movement of athletes in real time and the choice of the best perspective of shooting were added. For December, 2018 during completions of a system the software for automatic maintenance of athletes was optimized, the navigation subsystem on a running is improved, the subsystem of direct and return repetition to within a single frame is finished.

As a hardware platform of the Kraftway ShortTrack Video Replay system the Kraftway server in the special protected body is used.
