TAB Bank it is created in 1998. He renders financial services in all territory USA and places emphasis on flexibility and security. The bank is one of the first corporate customers of the platform CUBA, Java- a framework "Haulmont" for rapid development of business applications. Cooperation with TAB Bank began in 2016. Entered its tasks need to optimize document flow and to arrange workflows. It was for this purpose most effective to use the ready-made solution "Haulmont", electronic document management system TEZIS.
Situation
Before implementation of EDMS THESIS all divisions of TAB Bank used different information systems. In general document storage was organized safely, they easily could be lifted at the right time. However the management of bank understood that the centralized system will facilitate process management in which the staff of different divisions and offices participates. Besides, there were tasks which were carried out manually. They could be automated to increase productivity of work and to reduce an error probability because of a human factor which could occur during the periods of big loading.
Solution and results
To optimize TAB Bank business processes, all flows of documents from the different systems are transferred to EDMS THESIS. First, it allowed to simplify management of documents in general. Secondly, employees can see clearer the state of affairs in all bank.
Besides, TAB Bank involves also other opportunities of TEZIS: approval of documents, organization of meetings, management of instructions and preparation of reports.
Also specific processes are transferred to a system. One of them — work with customer appeals and disputable situations. To understand them and to make the decision, participation of the employee of the bank is required. However thanks to EDMS THESIS there was an opportunity more effectively to conduct monitoring of this process. The department which accompanies issuance of credits on acquisition of the equipment also transferred business processes to the THESIS system. This department consists of three employees. The considerable volume of work — about 400 tasks is the share each three days of them. EDMS THESIS changed daily work of department radically. There was an opportunity to monitor the movement on requests for issuance of credit. Besides, EDMS automatically sends requests and reminders to other participants of process — to the borrower and Department of vehicles. Earlier employees of the bank carried out this task manually.
