Automatic equipment: A monitoring system of a condition of equipment for the power industry

2018: Announcement

On December 4, 2018 the Avtomatika concern submitted the project allowing to make condition monitoring of the equipment for the power industry. A system not only fixes a current status of infrastructure, but also has function of formation of predictive analytics. The project belongs to the sphere of industrial Internet of Things. Development of concern provides considerable improvement of utilization properties of electric equipment and increases reliability of functioning of an electric grid in general.

According to the main mission of Rostec State corporation — quality improvement of life of people through creation of hi-tech "smart" products, the company constantly expands a product line of civil appointment — the CEO noted Avtomatika concern Vladimir Kabanov. — One of the perspective directions for us is development of high-tech solutions for the enterprises of fuel and energy complex. The company has successful experience of creation of information systems for power. This development of concern is intended to promote further digital transformation of an electrical power complex of the Russian industry.

The monitoring system provides control of technical condition of the equipment in real time for timely identification of possible defects, prevention of emergency situations and prolongation of life. Having high mobility, a system can quickly be mounted on transformers of any construction.

For December 10, 2018 development of concern undergoes pilot implementation in "IDGC of Siberia" where data collection from 43 substations will be performed. Widespread introduction of a system not only in an electric grid, but also in the oil and gas industry is in the future planned.
