Tele2 implemented Process Mining for the analysis of external payments

On December 12, 2018 the Ramax International company reported that Tele2 completed an implementation project of Process Mining by Celonis for the analysis and optimization of payment process. According to the company, a system will allow to optimize the number of scenarios of payments. Thanks to the solution labor costs of staff of treasury will be reduced, the quality of formation of payment positions will increase and the quantity of cases of editing documents will decrease. Implementation and start in commercial operation of this solution were performed by Ramax International company.

Desire of the operator to make process of formation of external payments in the company the most effective became premises for implementation of Process Mining by Celonis in Tele2. The analysis of payment process began with the moment of creation of a payment position before obtaining the bank statement about the registered payment. During the project more than 1 million payment positions unloaded from an information system of SAP ERP operator were analyzed.

For the further analysis different scenarios of payment to external partners and cases of editing data were selected. In an analysis result the rating of internal efficiency on payment types and structural divisions of the company was.

For December, 2018 each business process of the company has the regulations, structure and completion date, assumes accurate work as with partners, and internal customers. Taking part in this project, we, first of all, wanted to look how in reality there is our payment process and also to define opportunities for increase in its operational efficiency. The Process Mining by Celonis technology began to be implemented actively in Russia for commercial use only in 2016, but at the same time more than once proved the efficiency.
