On December 18, 2018 the CyberPower company reported that it ensured smooth operation of bank of blood in an oncological clinic.

According to the company, in GBUZ Respublikansky klinichesky onkologichesky dispanser in Ufa there took place the presentation of a system of regular power supply of the bank of blood which is completely equipped and started in work in December, 2018.

For December, 2018 the Republican oncological clinic is the largest oncological center in the republic where the qualified health care workforce, the modern diagnostic and medical equipment is concentrated. For the organization of reliable storage of components of blood, vaccines, diagnostic samples, tests and also the park of professional refrigerating appliances was set to a possibility of long storage of rare blood types.

Need of the organization of a reliable system of the guaranteed power supply became the second task in installation of the expensive freezing equipment. Even insignificant failure in network, and especially blackout, are capable not only to do much harm seriously to freezing chambers, but also to lead to failure of settings of temperature condition and as result, to loss of valuable samples and an invaluable reserve of blood.

For protection of the freezing equipment against failures in network and ensuring necessary battery life is set CyberPower uninterruptible power supply units transferred on a grant basis to the Republican clinical oncological clinic by the Russian representative office of the producer.

For increase in stability of system operation the decision to use individual power sources for each refrigerating unit is made.
