On December 12, 2018 elections of deputies of Youth parliament at the Saratov region duma during which the system of online votes Polys was used took place.
The platform based on blockchain technology and transparent cryptoalgorithms is one of projects of business incubator of Kaspersky Lab.
In total more than 40 thousand voters took part in elections. It was possible to vote by means of the Polys system on the personal mobile gadgets or devices installed on 110 polling precincts.
Elections lasted seven hours, including a stage of counting of votes, and results were announced at once. The average appearance made 36% (14,932 people).

In addition, votes are ciphered by means of cryptography in such a way that nobody – whether it be the malefactor or the organizer of vote – can learn who and for which of candidates voted.
