On December 18, 2018 the Energon-Elektro company announced carrying out the project on electrification of the reserved place in the Crimea on DELTA solar panels.
Prerequisites of the Project
The meteorological station, oldest in the Crimea, more than hundred years observing weather on the plateau Karabi was supposed to be closed because of a lack of financing. The meteorological station is located almost in the center of the lower Karabi plateau, at the height of 990 m above sea level and is well visible from all sublime points of the plateau.
Before installation of the solar station on a post of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (meteorological station), electricity on an object was produced only by the gasoline driven generator that Natural boundary of Karabi-yayla harmful influenced ecology of the reserved place (The natural boundary and the botanical wildlife area of nation-wide value located in the Crimean Mountains in the territory of Belogorsky district (Crimea).
Course and results of the project
Thanks to timely electrification of an object by installation of a solar power plant the meteorological station managed to be saved from preservation and to transfer under management to rescue service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Since May, 2018 to Karabi officially earned a rescue post.
In April, 2018 by forces of specialists of Astantion company and by request of State state organization of the Republic of Crimea "The Crimean republican rescue service CRIMEA-SAVIOUR, was set and started in work an autonomous solar power plant on the modules DELTA (Energon company).
The solar station completely closed the need of an object for the electric power that allowed to save ecology of this reserved place and provided comfortable conditions of service to employees of a post of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and workers of a meteorological station.
Structure of the installed equipment:
- The inverter power 6000vt/h, 48B with a connectivity of the fuel generator;
- The DELTA solar panel with the system of fastening on a flat roof - 8 pieces x 270 W = 2160 W;
- The controller of a charge of MPPT - 100A/200B;
- Bank of the DELTA storage batteries of 4 pieces x 150ach = 600ach;
- Average daily development of solar batteries - 11000vt-h;
- The reserved power of joint stock bank — 7000vt-h.
Object operation mode — complete autonomy.
In an autonomous solar power plant the electric power is made by solar panels and collects in rechargeable batteries. Using the inverter tension on accumulators is transformed to tension for electric devices 220B. In case of the shortage of energy from solar batteries (during the long period of cloudy days) the gasoline or diesel generator can be used. Electricity generation on seasons at orientation of solar panels on the South with slope angle of 45 degrees:
- Winter not less than 4 kWh / in day
- Spring not less than 8 kWh / in day
- Summer not less than 10 kWh / in day
- Fall not less than 7 kWh / in day
"Installation of a solar power plant on such object, remote from engineering networks, allows to create conditions for normal functioning of public services and divisions, and in certain cases as, for example, a meteorological station and a rescue post of the Ministry of Emergency Situations on the Karabi-Yayla plateau, the only possible way to save an object from closing or preservation. Expenses on installation of the solar station if to compare to the fuel generator will pay off in 2-3 years of operation. It is possible to receive such good digits on payback when the checked and high-quality equipment is used. The project became possible thanks to the solar panels and rechargeable batteries which are issued under the Russian DELTA brand". Sergey Vladimirovich Ryabtsev, company executive of Astantion |
