At the end of November 2018, Russian Railways summed up the procurement of MyOffice software products. The results are published at RTS-Tender site[1].
The customer needed 4 thousand licenses for the MyOffice Standard solution - a product for working with office applications in government organizations and large commercial enterprises. It includes text, table, presentation, and application editors to manage mail, calendar, and contacts. MyOffice Standard allows you to work on Windows, Linux operating systems and does not require an Internet connection.
According to the TK, the purchased software is required to test the user's desktop virtualization platforms. Testing of the pilot test site for 4,000 users is scheduled for the 1st quarter of 2019.
All licenses must be transferred to Russian Railways by the end of 2018. They must be delivered without limitation, with the right to receive updates within 1 year.
As a result of the procurement procedures, Korus Consulting was selected as the supplier. The amount of the contract amounted to 34.8 million rubles.
The fact that Russian Railways together with the Ministry of Finance created a working group on import substitution, in an interview with TAdviser told the Minister of Communications Konstantin Noskov.
This is one of the largest consumers buying software for billions of rubles a year. I chaired this working group. We have already held a couple of meetings where we are considering the proposals of Russian IT companies, which can be sold to Russian Railways. At the end of September 2018, Aeroflot summed up the results of the tender for the purchase of the MyOffice Standard office application package for 10 million rubles. In 2017, the Ministry of Transport announced the transition to domestic office solutions . The corresponding tender for 51.8 million rubles was won by Krok.
