Alexander Nazarov, Haulmont: "General mobilization" of users of EDMS leads to significant increase in efficiency

Alexander Nazarov: The market EDMS/ ECM- systems rather inert. It is simpler to monitor changes in three - or five-year perspective.

Today many customers aim to organize a common information space for work of employees, but not just to manage a set business processes in different information systems. On the one hand, there are more and more demanded integration gateways with different products (YuZDO, portals ERP CRM, the accounting and accounting systems), on the other hand, we often execute projects of expansion of functionality of a system on individual customers needs.

The large companies which began workflow automation and implemented EDMS 10-15 years ago return now to the questions of the choice of EDMS and implementing solutions because development of technologies does not stand still, and EDMS should meet today's requirements. Such projects often assume data migration from last solutions and automation of unique processes of document flow which opportunity to configure in "old" EDMS was not. Thus the wave of "reimplementations" becomes more and more every year.

Certainly, import substitution policy continues to have the increasing impact on the Russian market. Many customers select domestic goods and also pay attention to compatibility of EDMS with the Russian software and Open Source. By the way, today very not many Russian EDMS can brag of complete cross-platform of a server and client part of a system, the modern web interface and mobile application and also the open code. These advantages of EDMS "Thesis" put in a system 8 years ago are most relevant in an import substitution trend now.

Alexander Nazarov: Russian market of EDMS quite settled. The new features which appeared in one product quickly enough appear at all. Nevertheless we try first to bring to the market new functional and technological solutions in each release of our EDMS.

For example, in the current year we developed new mobile application of EDMS "Thesis" using React Native framework. He allows to create applications at the same time for iOS and Android, to quickly transfer modifications of main system to mobile application and to save them upon transition to the new version. The license policy of mobile application allows to purchase it for all users of a system for rather small cost. We note long ago that "general mobilization" of users of EDMS leads to significant increase in efficiency of use of a system.

In our opinion, intelligent systems of text recognition gain the increasing popularity together with EDMS today. Besides, in the near future in many organizations the systems of intellectual search and semantic document classification, but only when they become mass, available not only to large business will find worthy application.

Alexander Nazarov: This year at us two important releases took place: in June minor version 4.2.4, in November — Thesis 4.3 is released. The most important in minor release — emergence of mobile application of EDMS "Thesis". It is developed using a framework of React Native which allows to create quickly cross-platform iOS applications and Android. Besides, at modifications of their main system it is possible to transfer to mobile application quickly. One more important feature of mobile application of EDMS "Thesis" — in it it is possible to work without Internet connection. At connection recovery all changes will be synchronized with the server. Besides, for our many customers great advantage is that mobile application is supported by use of the EDS.

In the version of EDMS "Thesis" 4.3 opportunities on YuZDO are expanded — integration with the system of exchange of legally significant documents the Diadoc is added. The user can certify the document the electronic signature and send it to the partner directly from the Thesis system. The documents received from partners will also automatically appear in EDMS "Thesis".

The set of innovations for speed of work and convenience of users is added. For example, now through the notification in e-mail it is possible to send back the document for revision, to approve or approve.

In addition, in the new version support of Oracle DBMS is implemented (two other popular DBMS: PostgreSQL and MS SQL are supported for 8 years).

Alexander Nazarov: One of the functions which are most demanded today — comparison and text recognition of documents. For our many customers existence of this function played a crucial role in the choice of EDMS. For example, this function allows to compare the agreement received from the partner to the option sent it and to see whether any changes are made to it.

Mobile application of EDMS "Thesis" is also demanded. The companies aim to provide an opportunity to work from the mobile phone with everything to the employees. Besides, at our many customers upper managers use exclusively mobile application of EDMS.

In many organizations the unique processes of document flow therefore for customers an important factor when choosing EDMS is existence of tools for setup of a system and creation of new business processes work.

Besides, now it is required to customers that EDMS had the interface, convenient and clear for users, and was simple in support and service.

Alexander Nazarov: Demand for the YuZDO organization considerably grows every year. For a set of the companies both automation of internal document flow, and exchange of legally significant documents — already this, but not the future. This engine of progress in this case are large enterprises and holdings which refuse to work with the partners not ready to electronic exchange of documents. Thus, increase in demand for the YuZDO organization is promoted by aspiration even of the small organizations to remain competitive and to have a maximum of opportunities for cooperation with the large companies.

Alexander Nazarov: EDMS "Thesis" is initially created as the cross-platform solution and supports practically any OS on the basis of Linux. Certificates only confirm that testing for compatibility with a specific system on its basis was held.

This year the certificates confirming compatibility of EDMS "Thesis" with Red OS and Viola OS are received.

Partnership with domestic developers of operating systems and other products is expanded by opportunities for promotion of EDMS "Thesis" among government institutions and other organizations for which an important role when choosing technologies is played by import substitution.

Specific projects with these products (Red OS, Viola) were not still implemented, in the absence of demand from our customers for such sheaf.

Alexander Nazarov: One of the major projects completed this year — implementation of EDMS "Thesis" in Evrotsement group holding. First, in Evrotsement group the Thesis system succeeded Documentum — one of world leaders in the field of EDMS. Besides, the project is remarkable the scale — work of 3000 employees is automated, the structure of holding includes more than 30 organizations. The project assumed setup of processes of approval of documents, integration with the accounting system, the organization of control of budget limits, automatic document registration and YuZDO. The holding also uses the module for comparison and text recognition of documents, and mobile application of EDMS "Thesis" was highly appreciated by the management of Evrotsement group.

The project of automation of work of 585 Gold of GOLD continues to develop. This year we provided training for developers and testers from 585 GOLD. Thus, with the help Haulmont the jewelry network created at itself competences to develop a system independently. Specialists 585 GOLD by own efforts already organized exchange of legally significant documents with partners.

This year the implementation project of EDMS "Thesis" in the Government of the Kaliningrad region started. It is remarkable that the Administration of the governor acted as his initiator and automation began with the highest level of the power in the region. Occurs on the contrary more often — implementation of EDMS begins with separate departments and subordinated organizations. For the Government of the Kaliningrad region on the basis of EDMS "Thesis" the electronic document management system corresponding to modern requirements of state bodies is created. One more distinctive feature of the project — the governor puts and controls execution of instructions through mobile application to which at the initial stage of the project high requirements were imposed. Besides, based on technologies Haulmont in the Government of the region the project of automation of control and supervising activity is carried out. In the region the competence center for independent development of information systems is created.

In the Samara region we together with one of the leading partners carried out successful implementation of the module of citizens' appeals in "Regional command center by the state and municipal information systems and resources".

This year EDMS "Thesis" is started at the first foreign customer of TAB Bank. There it became the single working system for all divisions and automated document flow and control on unique processes — work with customer appeals and maintenance of issuance of credits on acquisition of the equipment.

Also the implementation project of EDMS "Thesis" in one of the largest Banks of China of Shanghai Pudong Development began.

In general year turned out saturated on events and interesting projects. It is sure that the next year will be not less bright.
