2020: Resuming of distribution of content of Finnair
On June 16, 2020 it became known that Finnair, national airline of Finland, and Sabre Corporation, the supplier of technologies and software for the world industry of tourism, announced the conclusion of the next agreement on global distribution. Sabre will resume distribution of content of Finnair, having provided access to it to hundreds of thousands of tourist agents and thousands of corporations by means of the marketplace worldwide.

The Sabre marketplace plays an important role in the tourist industry, providing marketing and sales of rates of airlines, hotel rooms, cars in rolling, train tickets and other tourist services through hundreds of thousands of agents, corporation and an online travel of the agency worldwide which use it for search, armoring and management of travel. It is one of large marketplaces in the world, the annual volume of transactions on which exceeds $120 billion.

Finnair performs flights between Europe and Asia along a short northern route through a hub in Helsinki. The airline made big investments into implementation of advantages of NDC to all chain of value creation into the tourism industries. As a global distributive system (GDS) in North and South America and the Pacific Rim, Sabre will give to Finnair an opportunity to sell highly profitable long-haul air transportation through network of the agencies in these important regions.
2018: Agreement of Finnair and Sabre on global distribution of corporate rates of airline
On December 20, 2018 it became known that Finnair, the national carrier of Finland, and Sabre Corporation signed the agreement on global distribution of corporate rates of airline. More than 425.000 (data for December, 2018) the agents connected to Sabre worldwide had an opportunity to select and armor products of Finnair, offering travelers even more choice and personalisation upon purchase of air tickets in any sales channel.
Using a working space of Sabre Red Workspace, agents can browse conveniently the maintenance of corporate rates of Finnair and armor additional services necessary for the passenger. With implementation of the New Sabre Red Workspace platform there will be an opportunity to work both with traditional content, and with the offers distributed under the NDC protocol thanks to API and advanced functionality.
