2018: Announcement
On December 20, 2018 the RTI company announced completion of work on creation of reconfigurable dual-band radar complexes of radiovision (further - the Complex).
According to the company, two R-and H-ranges of lengths of waves and polarimetric processing different standard objects of a location allow the Complex to investigate use. It is intended for monitoring and detection of motionless land objects (areas of industrial building, nodes of railway stations, sea and river ports, runways, thoroughfares and transmission lines), moving targets (vehicles in the movement) and also the surface purposes (the ships and vessels, water bodies in the period of an ice drift, alloy, oil platforms, bridges, crossings, dams). Also the Complex provides efficiency of investigation of an ice covering and reduces information unit cost.
One of the main design features of the Complex of radiovision is the possibility of reconfiguration under specific requirements of the customer and types of air carriers, i.e. its modularity. The modular architecture and also a ratio weight - dimensional characteristics and small power consumption allow to install different modifications of a complex on aircraft of different classes – from the Il-18 airplane and the Mi-8 helicopter to the UAV like Altius and Orion and also on extralight modifications of the UAV. The complex of radiovision will allow to provide information support of safe year-round navigation across the Northern Sea Route. He will also solve problems of warning of destruction of platforms of oil and gas production as a result of collision with the drifting ice-rinks and icebergs, to identification of the centers of emergence of technogenic catastrophes and oil spills, will prevent violation of frontier and will significantly increase efficiency of holding rescue operations.
