2023: Transfer of Legal Service to Docsvision Platform
The company SUEK is working on the implementation of IT legal the service. One of the important areas of this work was the creation of a convenient working tool for lawyers defending the interests of the company in courts of various instances. This was announced on May 15, 2023 by the company. Docsvision (DoxVision)
The project to create such a tool started in mid-2022, and already in January 2023 the solution "Claim and Claim Activity" was developed on the basis of the Docsvision platform. The decision made it possible to automate the processes of forming reports and unloading in court cases, and also ensured the possibility of prompt management and control of court cases. The solution was developed by RKIT and Docsvision together with the internal SUEK team.
Earlier in SUEK, claims and claims activities were carried out using disparate systems, both industrial and self-described. However, the requirements of the legal service for managing court cases and building reporting have repeatedly outgrown the capabilities of these decisions. At the same time, there were difficulties with the stability of the software, which is why employees often had to re-enter data and redo reports.
In the event of another failure in the IT system, the service proposed to consider the possibility of implementing claims and claims processes on the Docsvsion platform, since solutions on this platform already serve about 50 business processes in SUEK (from general workflow and work with contracts and powers of attorney to approval of project documents).
When developing the solution, special attention was paid to the interface and analysis of the user path. As a result, a "personalized" interface for lawyers was developed, implemented into the employee's common workspace. The independent interface includes both general dashboards and lists, as well as specialized searches, reports, as well as elements for quickly creating new cases.
At the same time, the project team did not forget about the functionality of the system. In particular, integration with external information systems was carried out, which ensured the possibility of normalizing directories and monitoring court hearings. As a result, it was possible to get rid of duplication of information on counterparties, judges, courts and, as a result, minimize errors in data entry. Compared to older systems, an implemented litigation solution allows you to download an unlimited number of files, define a presentation hierarchy, and store information about all changes.
The team managed to create a truly convenient space for working with court cases, simplify the storage of all documents on court cases and executions, make information and work transparent, and also save dozens of working hours of lawyers in the formation of reporting. On the click, reports on cases became available, including statistics on penalties and payment facts.
As part of the project, data was migrated from old systems to a new one using a utility developed by RKIT. Cases and files from older systems, as well as existing relationships, were migrated. In total, about 10,000 cases were migrated.
