Citilink optimizes customer service due to sensing technologies of persons and a voice

On December 26, 2018 the Citilink company reported that it began retrofitting of terminals (booths) of self-service in trading floors of shops warehouses and in points of issue of the order. For December, 2018, about 800 devices will be installed in outlets in 330 cities.

According to the company, terminals will accelerate purchase using application of voice commands, will allow to receive personal offers on the basis of a sensing technology of persons and also to perform payment, without addressing the cashier. Being in a trading floor, the buyer will be able not only to select any goods of online store, but also to manage the order in a personal account thanks to the translation of the software on the uniform cross-platform integrating web services of the website and the terminal.

For December, 2018 the company installed the first devices in 40 cities, among them — Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Nizhny Novgorod and others. Terminals are equipped with the necessary equipment for work with biometric data and voice information — the camera, loudspeakers and the microphone. On devices the interface is updated, there was a convenient listing, search filters extended.

Further the company will install terminals in all network, step by step will start all functions. In the first quarter 2019 there will be well voice actuation; buyers will also be able to pay goods based on acquiring service of partner bank. Since July, 2019 the company implements a sensing technology of persons and on the basis of video analytics will start the marketing program of the personalized offers taking into account age, sex. Besides, will complete completions of animation in the interface.

Upon termination of the project of the device will become a part of the uniform canal of Internet sales. The visitor of shop will get access to the complete range of the company, he will be able to see a goods location across all Russian Federation and also to use website options, such as viewing responses and reviews in directories. Logging into the personal account will be performed just as from the normal mobile or stationary device (the smartphone, the notebook, the computer) — by the login and the password.

Face recognition will simplify service of those buyers who permitted to take the picture of the person via the terminal earlier (data will be stored in a type a hash code) and made a repeated visit to shop. Sensing technologies of the speech (speech to text) and process optimization of cash services will increase capacity of shop, will accelerate purchase.

The main objective of the project — to increase convenience of service of buyers in Citilink. After complete project implementation each authorized user of online store will be able to manage the order in any channel irrespective of whether purchase on the mobile device, the computer or from the terminal in shop was made.

For December, 2018, visually terminals remind the modern mobile device — with vertical arrangement of the screen. The size of the display increased twice in comparison with the former version.
