2019: Integration with schedule system of surgery of mediCAD Classic
At the end of January, 2019 users of the syngo.via platform from Siemens Healthineers were provided with new technology of planning of surgeries thanks to integration of a system of complex diagnostics into the mediCAD Classic tool.
This tool developed by the German company mediCAD Hectec is the high-performance building block software which provides quality control at step-by-step planning of orthopedic transactions. It is expected that mediCAD Classic will help to simplify orthopedic and radiological processes as the integrated partner application for the syngo.via platform.
The CEO of mediCAD Hectec claims that this offer will improve clinical opportunities of hospitals thanks to a combination of profitability and efficiency of the solution and also thanks to the interface of the main program already familiar to users. The technology allows to estimate alternative surgical techniques most effectively. In a work progress of software combines images with information obtained from the database of digital templates of implants from 130 producers. Then software represents the outputs to idle time for understanding and a compact form.
As it is a part of the multimodal solution of Siemens, radiologists and surgeons will be able freely to get access to applications of mediCAD without additional IT infrastructure or need to separately start the software.
Users can purchase the new software through the integrated syngo.via OpenApps shop which connects the syngo.via platform to a digital ecosystem of Siemens Healthineers which added to shop products of six new partners, including mediCAD recently. However users should have syngo.via of the version VB30 and more. Also 30-day trial version and an opportunity to request the commercial offer, with function of regular updating to the latest version of software and the database of prostheses is available to users.[1]
